Term 4    Swimming

First day back.   Yeah!!! SWIMMIMG!!!!

Room 7 had a blast the first day at the pool. We all had our togs, towels and bags and set off to walk to the Greerton Pools. We met with the instructors and were put into groups to be assessed.
Day 2. "Walking to the Pools" did not seem to be such a great idea.  Half way there it started to rain. We got soaked!! It was fun. We went to our groups and had a wonderful time learning new skills.

We did different things in our groups. We used noodles, boards and just our bodies to float, swim and blow bubbles.

TERM 3 2013

Welcome back to everyone at Merivale School.  We had a well deserved holiday and now it is all back to hard work and learning new things...BUT most of all enjoy life.

On Thursday afternoon Whaea Dayle and myself went to visit Rlexuz in hospital. Rlexuz got sick the first week of the holiday and has been in hospital since then.  He was so positive and is longing to be back with all of us at school. Here is a photo of him with Whaea Dayle.

An Afternoon of fun with Boys from the College.

Boys' College come to Merivale!!

Some boys from Tauranga Boys College came to our school on Friday the 28th June to teach us some sport skills.

They came and helped us play 5 different games.

It was fun.  Everyone from our school participated.

Thank you all the boys and their teacher for making it a fun afternoon.
