Term 4 Swimming
Room 7 had a blast the first day at the pool. We all had our togs, towels and bags and set off to walk to the Greerton Pools. We met with the instructors and were put into groups to be assessed.
Day 2. "Walking to the Pools" did not seem to be such a great idea. Half way there it started to rain. We got soaked!! It was fun. We went to our groups and had a wonderful time learning new skills.

We did different things in our groups. We used noodles, boards and just our bodies to float, swim and blow bubbles.

Kia ora akomanga 7, it looks like you all enjoyed your first day in the Greerton Pools. Merivale school children are so lucky to have free lessons being taught by skilled staff.
